Title: Customer Service Rep(ON-SITE)

Employment Type: Temp to hire

Training Schedule: 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday

Post-Training Schedule: 5am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday

Salary: $27.50/hour

 

Summary:

Responsible for providing excellent customer service to customers and branches by accurately entering and maintaining orders, providing updates, and resolving problems.

Essential Functions

  • Answers telephone calls from Spider customers and branches
  • Routes callers to branch personnel or other departments as necessary
  • Enters all orders into computer system, coordinates shipments, track orders and advise customers of order status.
  • Creates rental contracts and all other order related documents
  • Generates invoices and issues credits to customers
  • Resolves order problems.
  • Provides parts identification and basic product information to customers and branches.
  • Communicates order status and production problems to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitors product availability and coordinates with planning, purchasing and production to meet current and anticipated customer needs.
  • Manages customer contracts.
  • Performs other projects or duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of excellent real customer service experience (no script-real experience) .
  • Strong listening and verbal communication skills with various customer types.
  • Excellent phone business etiquette both in person and on the phone.
  • Must demonstrate extremely strong listening and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and decision-making abilities.
  • Able to work occasional overtime.
  • Good project management skills in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative and appropriate independent problem solving.
  • Ability to participate and cooperate in a team-oriented environment, and work independently.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Experience with ERP or MRP systems, JD Edwards knowledge preferred.
  • Strong MSOffice Suite skills, AS/400 skills/background able to key 55+ WPM
