Job Responsibilities

• Greets patients at the door, and assist with checking them in
• Update and maintain client’s dental records
• Schedules patients’ appointments
• Performs routine dental cleaning and assists dentist with dental procedure
• Takes patient X-rays and processes them
• Prepare tools needed for dentist to complete procedure
• Clean exam room and sterilize instrument
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate
• Obtains necessary patient information to file and update patient records, and ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients
• Check-out patients, and assists with billing

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 year of dental assistant experience preferred
• X- Ray certified
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
• Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures
• Must be able to always maintain confidentiality
