As the largest Healthcare company, we are seeking 2 RNs to join our team in HARBOR CITY, CA! This would be in the Hematology, Oncology, and Infusion Services Department so previous experience is highly preferred

COVID vaccination and booster required for this position!

Pay: $55/hr - 67/hr depending on experience

Schedule: Mon – Fri 8:00AM – 5:00PM. Change to 4-10 hour shifts after 3 months

Duration: 3 Months with possible extension + possible perm opportunities 

Job Summary:

As an Infusion RN, you will provide hands-on care to patients by practicing in an evidence-based manner within the scope of all regulatory guidelines and standards of care. You would implement and monitor patient care plans, monitor records, and communicate patient conditions appropriately.

Job Duties:

• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, antibiotics, symptom management, patient education, and triage patients.
• Provide and document professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Demonstrates competency in all aspects of chemotherapy administration, monoclonal antibody therapy, IV therapy, subcutaneous and intramuscular injection administration.
• Maintains a systematic and ongoing patient evaluation process, collecting and documenting evaluation data from all pertinent sources.
• Assist other healthcare personnel in the delivery of patient care.

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in Oncology preferred
  
• Infusion through a port (reclass)/ Venofer experience is required
• Chemo administration experience within the last 5 years
• EPIC/ Healthconnect experience is a plus
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
