We are seeking an Accounting Administrative Assistant to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile daily revenue of restaurants from POS and delivery platforms
  • Audit cash and charge card receipts of restaurants
  • Prepare daily/weekly sales reports on various circumstances
  • Accounts payable and receivables and other accounting functions
  • Reconcile monthly vendor statements and bank statements
  • Assist with providing monthly sales reports to the headquarter for month-end closing and depositing & reconciliation on the bank account
  • Assist with purchasing Journal entries and updating Inventory sheets coordinated with store management and the headquarter office
  • Organize invoices and vendor contracts and provide operation managers in vendor-related matters such as credit application
  • File sales tax, commercial rent tax and any governmental tax as needed
  • Assist with management and executives’ expense reports and reimbursements
  • Office Administrative work (ordering supplies, handle shipping/mailing)
  • Understand restaurant operations and brand concepts and assist operation managers
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information, records, and documents

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, high school diploma required
  • 2+ years of relevant bookkeeping and administrative blended experience
  • Restaurant industry experience required
  • Bilingual Spanish, Chinese or Japanese required
  • Hospitality experience is highly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with positive mindset
  • Ability to prioritize and organize a heavy volume of tasks, to accomplish the deadline.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Must demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal wage and hour laws
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with business vendors and restaurant employees and management teams and follow processes & procedures
  • Experience with accounting software with Microsoft Dynamics GP is preferred and proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel
