Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm
Job Summary:
A broad knowledge of HR functions, from hiring to onboarding, employee relations, evaluations, and labor laws etc. If you have a passion for HR and look to have a successful experience, this is a great opportunity for you!!
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in minor talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Support employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
- Provide support to management in employee relations and resolve any issues that may arise
- Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies
- Undertake tasks around performance review
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating
- Explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees
- Addressing any employment relations issues, such as work complaints and harassment allegations
- Processing all personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval
- Process Employee Leaves of Absence
- Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience
- Restaurant experience is highly required
- Microsoft Suite including Excel, ADP, work force now experience is highly preferred
- Multi state payroll and tips experience highly preferred
- Understanding of general HR policies and procedures
- Knowledge state and federal laws that apply to HR
- Natural interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
- Aptitude in problem-solving and critical thinking
- Work as a team with a results-driven approach
Benefits:
- We cover medical, dental, and life insurance costs for all employees once they have been employed for 90-days. No monthly cost to employee. Medical, and dental insurance for 1 dependent is $60 a month. For a family it is $100 a month. 401k with a 3% match after 1 year employment. After 90-days of employment they get $100 a month to spend on restaurants that they own.
