Job Opening: Medical Assistant

Experienced Medical Assistants needed in Dublin VA $18-21 hourly

Paid weekly; start ASAP

Hours: Weds-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Mon/Tues 8am-4:30pm at our Galax location (will pay for mileage) 

Duties:

• Labs & possibly phlebotomy 
• Vitals & charting
• Injections
• Room patients 
• Scheduling patient appointments.
• Check patients in/out, monitor patient flow.
• Perform urine drug screens, takes vitals, assist with patient evaluations.
• Call in patient medication as directed by Physician.
• Input accurate patient information into electronic health record.
• Responsible for cash collection and verification of benefits.
• Review the Prescription Monitoring Database.
• Provide education and resource information regarding medication.
