A nationally recognized baked goods and food distribution company is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team in the Maspeth area! This is a contract to permanent position and starting around $15.50 per hour. The schedule for this position would be Tuesday - Saturday.
Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls.
Receive and direct visitors and clients.
General clerical duties.
Handle requests for information and data.
Resolve administrative problems and inquiries.
Maintain office supply inventories.
Coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
Education and Work History:
High School diploma required.
Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software.
Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment.
Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management.
Communication skills - written and verbal.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other software/applications.
Planning and organizing.
Prioritizing Specialized Skills Attention to detail and accuracy.
Must be a quick learning and able to work in a fast paced environment.
