Exciting Customer Service Opportunity working with Medical Insurance! 

Our Fortune Five Louisville, KY client is hiring for Medical Insurance Customer Service Representatives!! These are full-time, Mon – Fri schedules and with a pay of $15.50/hr. Work schedule is 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

Seeking Customer Service Representatives to assist specialty pharmacy patients to overcome delay in turnaround times and other obstacles in obtaining their medication. Function as a liaison between special drug program patients and their insurance company. Occasionally, will contact physician offices, payers, specialty pharmacies, and pharmaceutical company representatives.

Duties include:

  • Verify eligibility coverage for drug benefits
  • 75% of day spent on phones making inbound and outbound calls
  • Heavy data entry of patient information
  • Strong communication skills with compassion for the patients
 

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years customer service experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 
  • Computer savvy working with dual monitors, toggling between multiple screens
  • Analytical thinker, self-motivated possess problem solving skills.
  • Ability to take direction, work independently, and take ownership.
