The Escrow Assistant is responsible for obtaining payoffs, estoppel letters, taxes and any administrative items necessary to prepare for closing. This position requires strong and accurate attention to detail along with strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a highly productive manner. Candidates for this role must also possess the ability to communicate with clients in a professional manner.
High School diploma and recent experience or Bachelor’s degree is a plus and/or Law Certification is a definite plus. · 1-3+ years of real estate experience is ideal, however we will consider candidates with a customer service background in a high volume environment as well. · Possess knowledge of legal documents with the ability to analyze and evaluate documents as it relates to closings is a must. · Research experience in county recorder websites and other pertinent software solutions required. · Software Experience in Ramquest and Resware is strongly desired. Candidates with software experience in Softpro, LandTech, or similar will be considered as well. · Must have exceptional verbal and written communication, as well as organizational skills. · Must have excellent problem solving capability and analytical abilities. · Must be self-starter with ability to work independently. · Commercial and/or multi-state experience is a major plus.
