Our client, a large publicly traded company here in Charlotte, is adding a Payroll Manager to their staff.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
- Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits
- Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance
- Review of timesheets, deductions, garnishments, and benefits
- Reconcile payroll related accounts, such as deductions, benefits, paid time off, etc.
- Prepare journal entries for expenses and labor charges
- Reconcile expense reports for multiple divisions
- Work with the rest of the finance team on P&L reviews, month end, and year end process
