Description

Our client, a large publicly traded company here in Charlotte, is adding a Payroll Manager to their staff.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
  • Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits
  • Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance
  • Review of timesheets, deductions, garnishments, and benefits
  • Reconcile payroll related accounts, such as deductions, benefits, paid time off, etc.
  • Prepare journal entries for expenses and labor charges
  • Reconcile expense reports for multiple divisions
  • Work with the rest of the finance team on P&L reviews, month end, and year end process

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience
  • General accounting experience, including reconciliations and general ledger experience
