Job Responsibilities:

  • Compiles cash basis Financial Statements for various residential properties and commercial entities
  • Preparation of certain recurring journal entries to record sales, loan payments and bank fees
  • Reconcile monthly bank accounts for various properties, including ensuring all cash, check, ACH and credit card transactions are properly recorded
  • Preparation of monthly loans, interest and distribution checks for all entities
  • Maintain and update of all investor files
  • Enter and pay checks and Notes Payable
  • Accounts Payable – monthly distributions for investors as well as preparation of annual investor bonuses
  • Accounts Payable – rental payments for inter-companies & interest 
  • Communication to investors as needed with regards to distribution details and referral to CFO for complex questions
  • Assistance in refinances on a case-by-case basis

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years multi-family property accounting
  • Yardi a plus
  • Accounting of multiple strip mall centers or residential 
  • Excellent communication skills, dependable and team player
