Description

We have IMMEDIATE openings for Claims Data Entry Clerks to join the team of a growing insurance company located in Richmond, VA.

This position is responsible for providing clerical assistance to the Claims Department. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and cataloging provider inquiries
  • Uploading reconsiderations to vendors
  • Downloading vendor responses
  • Coordinating responses with various departments
  • Typing letters to providers

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare field, claims processing preferred
  • High School Diploma required
  • Knowledge of CPT-4 code and ICD-9 preferred
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a production based- goal oriented environment
  • Ability to conduct research
