Payroll Assistant

TYPE: Direct Hire, part-time (20 hours per week), will require 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM availability on Mondays and Tuesdays; client can be flexible with remainder of scheduled hours


  • Work with associates, clients, and payroll team to complete timesheet entry and approval on a weekly basis
  • Work with payroll team to update reports throughout the day on status of payroll
  • Utilize several timesheet collection software programs in ensure timely entry and collection of timesheets for 500 employees
  • Contact employees regarding outstanding timesheets and clients regarding pending approvals
  • Complete manual check requests as needed
  • Manual data entry for adjustment of hours and billing
  • Other duties as assigned by manager as time allows

Job Requirements


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of administrative office experience in a high-volume environment
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience working with payroll is a plus
