Description

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer for a Migration Project on an enterprise level. You will be the go-to person for technology challenges so being solutions-based and thinking on your feet is a must. As the technology SME, you will assist in implementing solutions to technology processes to improve efficiencies.  

  • Provide effective technical support to users for hardware and software issues
  • Comply to and promote data security policies and best practices
  • Maintain computer-related equipment and IT resources, including PCs, printers, video conference equipment, projectors, servers, data/telecom equipment, network infrastructure and A/V systems
  • Assist with special projects, events and initiatives
  • Maintain asset management activity and status of Firm-owned hardware and forecast inventory needs

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience providing technical support to users related to software, hardware and networking LAN/WAN technologies, cabling topologies
  • 4+ years of experience configuring, installing and maintaining client PC OS and related devices
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite; Office 365 helpful
  • Solid experience in remote access architectures, applications and technologies (Citrix, VPN), Smartphones, and wireless technologies (iOS, iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry)
  • Experience in installing and configuring routers, data communication devices, networking devices and cabling
  • Strong working knowledge of Internet, Intranet, Extranet technologies
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
  • Highly Desired: experience with legal industry software programs (Ringtail, LiveNote, Concordance, CaseMap, etc.)
