Description

We are seeking a talented, motivated and creative candidate who is passionate about technology and consulting. The successful Jr. Network / Help Desk Engineer will provide IT support onsite.  

  • Provide high level customer support via Help Desk, remote access and onsite.
  • Perform product and technical support for all versions of Microsoft’s core business applications and IT infrastructure such as Windows Server and PC, Anti-Virus software, etc.
  • Troubleshoot VPN, remote access, printers, routers, HW, SW, OS user issues.
  • Monitor network and resolve issues related to LAN / WAN connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls, and other security products.
  • Document actions taken to resolve issues, client contact information, network diagrams, expenses, etc. in an efficient, professional and timely manner.
  • Interface with clients and vendors to implement projects and resolve technical issues to client satisfaction.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelor Degree in CS, CIS, IT or related field
  • Current certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or CCA preferred
  • 4+ years hands on technical experience and working knowledge of LAN/WAN operations and protocols
  • Good knowledge of Windows Server 2008 & 2012 and Active Directory administration
  • Good experience supporting Cisco Routers and SonicWall firewalls
  • Ability to relay technical information to clients with varying skill levels in a manner in which they can understand
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
  • Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Strongly preferred: bilingual Japanese
