We are seeking multiple bilingual (English/Spanish) Logistics Coordinators to join the procurement team of our client in the Mission Valley area. This position is temp to hire and is paying $40K during the contract period but offers a salary review upon permanency (up to 45k). The person in this role will be responsible for helping coordinate and monitor part deliveries while working closely with the vendors. We are looking for hardworking, analytical thinkers who are looking to grow in their career.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Data reconciliation and reporting of transportation data to management as requested and maintaining communication with customers, internal sales and carriers
  • Works with the procurement team to support the supply chain process
  • Request, receive and analyze reports and data received from plant and vendors
  • Monitor all raw material deliveries from start to finish (pick up to final destination)
  • Determine the best shipping methods for urgent materials by reviewing and analyzing rates
  • Offer logistics support to the aftermarket, warranty and sales teams
  • Assist management in gathering and verifying data for weekly and monthly reporting and annual forecasting
  • Some invoicing and accounting responsibilities
  • Responsible for refunding any expenses back to vendors when appropriate
  • Will be working with the Mexico plant, Spanish speaking is preferred
  • Any other relevant duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1-3 years’ experience in logistics preferred
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Knowledge of SAP a plus
  • High sense of urgency and detail oriented
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish highly preferred
