Credit and Collection Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs credit and collection duties for customer accounts,
  • including telephone collections, account authorization, and account management.
  • Collects on customer accounts utilizing available technology and collection strategies. Negotiates simple payment plans with past due customers.
  • Evaluates credit reports and financial statements, along with other customer information and provides recommendations regarding establishment of credit within the company guidelines.
  • Reviews account status; Recommends and authorizes additional sales to the customer. Places accounts on Hold/Re-opens as appropriate
  • Assists with account resolutions for misapplied cash and refers larger problem accounts to supervisor for assistance.
  • Manages assigned accounts to maintain low levels of delinquency.
  • Technical Skills & Knowledge: Specialized skills, knowledge and abilities needed to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Knowledge of collection tools and techniques, deferral policies, legal restrictions and contract terms and Company policies and procedures. (Has a general understanding of the principles and uses the knowledge with assistance.)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates appropriate staffing allocation and availability of call center staff in order to achieve service level objectives
  • Monitors site to ensure optimal staffing levels
  • Adjust intraday forecasts derived from understood business drivers to determine required staffing levels by projecting call volumes, call duration, and required staffing levels using current trends and historical data
  • Runs and analyzes reports with the result of making recommendations for adjusting staffing levels to meet departmental productivity and profitability goals
  • Perform continual analysis of current performance (noting recent historical trends) and conduct real-time re-forecasting to make necessary adjustments in staffing plans and coordinate with Operations teams to achieve service level goals / business objectives for a multi-site operation
  • Generates and evaluates staffing schedules and ensures data updates into scheduling system. Generates short and long-term staffing models and provides recommendations based on analysis
  • Monitor contact volume and staffing data to ensure that Customer Service Representatives are performing in accordance with established quality and performance standards
  • Perform on-going analysis including tracking and analyzing performance by individual and by team and reporting actual performance to standards; analyze performance trends and impact on goal achievements
  • Prepare daily and weekly call center reporting on call center metrics and call volume and complete routine monthly reporting requirements
  • Manage real time Agent Performance metrics (Stats, KPI’s, Adherence, Performance Scorecards) and create daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Create and publish monthly and quarterly Agent Performance Scorecards
  • Manage real time adherence to ensure resources are being utilized to provide optimal service levels for customers
