Description

We are currently seeking a qualified Executive Assistant to support the Vice President, Federal Government Affairs in Washington, DC.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Vice President, Federal Government Affairs and Directors within Government Affairs
  • Calendar management, personal appointments, coordinating and scheduling travel itineraries
  • Coordination on communication with executives, directors, administrative assistants and outside consultants
  • Event planning and execution
  • Process expense reports
  • Spearhead special projects
  • Order supplies
  • Maintain files
  • Prepare complex documents to include correspondence, reports and presentations

Job Requirements

  • An Associate’s Degree (or equivalent experience), plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong understanding of the legislative, political, and election processes preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word).
  • Ability to develop presentations and materials that are executive ready
  • Ability to interact with all levels within the company
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
