RemX has an exciting temp to hire opportunity with a Carlsbad company for an experienced Procurement Assistant! This position is with a dynamic, culture focused, global organization, and is paying $20/hr. Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to vendors, internal employees, and customers regarding status of orders
  • Provide excellent service to vendors and suppliers
  • Process Purchase orders for indirect purchasing (ie. IT Services, Marketing an HR material) for Global Procurement team and Manager
  • Provide quotes and other miscellaneous items as needed
  • Document in companies CRM (Workday)
  • Communicate schedule changes or other issues that could impact delivery
  • Develop strong relationship to promote open dialog and growth
  • Follow up with internal employees on all projects and/or issues; monitor supplier performance
  • Analyze vendor and suppliers for cost savings and present to Director and Buyer
  • Assist with all miscellaneous administrative tasks of the department for example, ordering team business cards
  • Assist with training of documentation process Workday to help streamline procedures

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 1-3 years of related experience
  • Can do attitude with a strong customer service first approach
  • Excellent skills in full MS Office Suite; Workday experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Team player attitude, desire and willingness to learn
