TYPE: 4-6 month contract with potential to be extended or for hire

WHY THIS COMPANY: Our client, a paper supplier, has over 50,000 employees worldwide.  They are a leader in their field providing a variety of paper and packaging solutions.

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Coordinate recruiting activities for hourly positions
  • Work with staffing agencies to fill open positions
  • Source applicants utilizing a variety of resources
  • Conduct pre-screening phone call with potential candidates
  • Conduct pre-employment testing and reference checks
  • Set up orientation for new hires
  • Complete I-9s for new hires
  • Maintain employee files
  • Track disciplinary action and PTO requests
  • Assist with tracking of FMLA and disability leave
  • Assist with event planning in regards to employee events and holiday parties

Job Requirements

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field is preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of prior HR experience to including recruiting, payroll, and LOA is required
  • Must have strong attention to detail
