RemX has partnered with a newer client to help them with a temp-to-hire accounting clerk role! 

In this position, you can expect to have your hands in accounts payable, accounts receivable, completing account reconciliations and assisting upper management in the full cycle of accounting. 

The responsibilities in the position include: 

  • Full cycle Accounts Payable, obtaining approvals, entering invoices into the system and preparing check runs
  • Full cycle Accounts Receivable, creating invoices, sending them out to customers and applying payments to accounts and light collections / follow up with customers regarding past due invoices
  • Completing some light account reconciliations including bank and credit cards 
  • Assisting upper management with month, quarter and year end closes providing them with vital information needed to close the books 
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of previous accounting experience required that includes AP and AR
  • Experience with large ERP systems required
  • Intermediate skills in excel preferred
