Validates orders are in accordance with the terms and conditions of these agreements. • Reviews purchasing requests and requirements; prepares procurement specifications and reviews against company quality standards and budget guidelines. • Evaluates potential vendors; assesses RFQs (requests for quote) process against established criteria, rules, and regulations; selects vendors for RFQs; participates in purchase agreement negotiations. • Interacts with vendors, high-level buyers and management to evaluate products and select vendors. • Maintains purchasing agreement information in the purchasing system. • Assess markets against purchasing commitments and projected needs; recommends cost effective alternatives. • Provides departmental training; responds to escalated purchasing issues. • Applies knowledge of fixed price contracts, weights and measures, world markets, and international exchange rates to optimize business results Requirements: • Four years related experience in purchasing; familiarity with supply chain management. • Ability to communicate clearly (verbal and written) with employees, management, and customers. • Ability to meet deadlines, maintain an attention to detail and accuracy, while working in a team or group environment. • Proficiency in the use of computer business applications, Excel, Word, and have a working knowledge of computerized purchasing systems.

This data is subsequently used to; create customer sales orders, calculate revenue projections, plan supply and demand, determine safety stock levels, and inventory receipts projections. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Support activities to validate forecast data • Support analysis and tracking changes in demand Issue signals to balance future inventory in line with supply and demand change events • Help maintain key notes on forecast trends, accuracy and performance e.g. ramp up/down, contract termination • Monitor critical fields that determine inclusion or exclusion from the consensus demand plan used to analyze supply and demand • Actively support upload of forecast data into the ERP system • Support the Demand Planning Manager in the maintenance of key Demand Planning metrics • Maintain data in inventory management system in accordance with local department procedures and related change requests with utmost attention to detail and quality deliverables, including: Contract, Project and Bin Masters including all associated data fields, Kit BOM’s and Branch Planting of parts • Create and update Scanner Master Reference files as required • Analyze and report on bin data including data changes (e.g. volume and type of change) • Identify risks and deficiencies in the SIOP process and make suggestions to improve them. • Support continuous improvement activities within the team REQUIREMENTS • Associates Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Inventory Management and/or equivalent experience preferred • 1-3 years Supply Chain, Demand Planning, and/or Inventory Management experience required • Demonstrated basic competency in Oracle data systems (JDE, SAP, etc.)
