Excellent opportunity for a Payroll Accountant to work with a growing company in Monmouth County.

You will be working with the Finance team, this position will partner with Human Resources and be fully responsible for the preparation of a biweekly payroll for the US and Canada. The candidate will also assist with the monthly closing process by preparing monthly adjusting and closing journal entries, critical account analysis and monthly general ledger reconciliations. They will assist in the budgeting and forecasting process.

Responsibilities:

  • Payroll processing and administration by working closely with our Human Resources department. Prior experience with ADP workforce is preferred.
  • Preparation of monthly adjusting and closing entries along with critical account analysis and monthly GL reconciliations.
  • Prepares benefit premium audits and reconciliations.
  • 401k Administration including managing the and audit and preparation of form 5500.
  • Prepares actual to forecast/budget variance analysis.
  • Monitors corporate travel and expense reimbursement.
  • Assists with annual budget and quarterly forecast updates.
  • Assist with annual and internal audits.

  • BS Accounting
  • 5 years' Accounting experience
