Payroll Specialist Job Description:

  • Full cycle payroll processing for multiple states on a weekly basis 
  • QA and auditing for accuracy
  • Assist employees and management with questions, concerns or requests regarding payroll (garnishments, discrepancies, etc)
  • This includes properly applying technical knowledge and skills, communicating and listening effectively
  • Review payroll documents for compliance with policies and procedures
  • Completion of Certified Payroll
  • Assist with invoicing as needed
  • Prepare expense reports and bonus packaging 

 

Job Requirements

Payroll Specialist Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of years of multi-state, union/non-union payroll
  • Proficient with ADP 
  • Ability to manage deadlines effectively
  • Solid critical thinking skills
