A global medical instrumentation developer, manufacturer, has a great opportunity available for a Financial Analyst to work for a growing company.  

Job Summary:

Assist with all of the following departmental objectives:

  • Generation of accurate monthly and quarterly financial statements in a time frame consistent with the company’s closing schedule.
  • Preparation of the annual budget and forecasts as required.Supporting senior management through informative, clear and concise business analyses that will facilitate and support the decision-making process
  • Data gathering and variance analysis related to operating expenses
  • Daily cash management and account reconciliations

Essential Job Functions:

    1. Annual budgets
    2. Monthly and quarterly revenue and P&L forecast
    3. Monthly and quarterly management performance reporting package including P&L, gross margin, expenses and working capital
    4. Variance analysis of all critical P&L line items
    5. Capital spend tracking and forecasting
    6. Quarterly sales reporting by product  
    7. Banking and cash management
    8. Monthly accounting close journal entries in the area of revenue/cash/operating expenses

Job Requirements

Position Specifications:

Knowledge/Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Accounting or Finance degree required, MBA or CPA strongly preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in a budgeting, financial planning and analysis role
  • Prior experience in medical device or complex electronic hardware products industries a plus
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Power point skills required (Advanced preferred)
  • Extensive experience with a major ERP system. SAP experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
