You will be working with a Top Fortune 500 Healthcare company assisting people in getting access to life saving medications. Come join our team and get paid to help people in a service center environment located in Louisville, KY. We are looking for experienced Case Managers/Benefits Insurance Specialists to join our rewarding team.  The pay rate is $15.50/hour and candidates must have availability to work any shift, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8a-8p.

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Make outbound calls to insurance companies and medical offices to gather patient billing and medical information to determine if patient’s diagnosis qualifies and products are covered
  • Gaining authorizations for services
  • Handling coordination of benefits to ensure claims are reimbursable
  • Operating according to the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program
  • Working with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient

Job Requirements

  • 6 months related experience, preferably in a healthcare or health insurance organization
  • Requires strong verbal and written skills in order to effectively communicate with co-workers and medical office personnel.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience in Call Center r Service Center preferable
  • Strong Typing/Data Entry skills
  • Intermediate computer skills (Windows, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to pass background check
