Fantastic Engineering company located on the Jersey Shore is looking for a Manager of Finance

Specifications:

  • Builds partnership and maintains strong relationship with senior management of business. -
  • Works closely with management to coordinate and develop key reports such as annual cost and expense budgets and forecasts, cost rates, revenue backlog analysis, and margin analysis. -
  • Coordinates preparation of financial reporting, budget, forecast/plan (P/L, B/S, Cash/Cashflow, AR and Collections, Capital Expenditure, etc) with all departments and functional areas concerned (Operations, Sales, Accounting & Finance Corporate, etc).
  • Provides accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions at the business/functional level. -
  • Identifies underlying assumptions, risks, opportunities, and provides explanations on variances. -
  • Coordinates P&L review with accounting and operation teams during month-end close to ensure P&L accuracy and completeness, understanding business reasons for any deviations to established projections. -
  • Partner with business leaders to understand/challenge major assumptions & other drivers of the business to create accurate forecast/plan. -
  • Reviews and approves pricing proposals to new or existing customer/contracts. Adhoc reports and analysis as business needs arise. -
  • Develop process documentation and process improvement activities associated with Accounting/CRM System Implementation

MS Excel w/prof in adv. formulas and exposure to macros. Experience w/BI Solutions
