RemX is partnered with an Education Consulting firm in Wilmington, DE to find a Customer Service/Verification Specialist to join their team! 

Direct hire, full time

Pay: $36,000/year

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p (potential overtime during peak season, January to June)

Customer Service/Verification Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Help families process financial aid applications by verifying the applicant family's tax information and providing customer service
  • Resolve applicant questions/issues via phone, email, and help desk tickets
  • Work collaboratively with Client Service Representatives to resolve applicant questions and complaints
  • Work collaboratively with Development team regarding technical efficiency of the verification software program

Job Requirements

Customer Service/Verification Specialist Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required, college degree preferred 
  • Strong 10-key data entry skills, ability to process large volumes of data entry and information management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel, Outlook email, Google Docs, ability to navigate new software programs
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening, excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Ability to excel under pressure and meet demanding/recurring deadlines
