Manage Inductive, Magnetic, Ultrasonic, and Valve Sensor product lines.
Conduct market research by visiting customers that can "drive" innovation for Position Sensor Products.
Develop and coordinate complete market launch plans including forecast, promotional literature, electronic content, demo process, and training with a focus on conceptual selling.
Work with sales team to identify and focus on large customer opportunities (must win accounts) using position sensing technologies.
Support Corporate (Germany) Product Management on new projects, from study to realization to market launch.
Visit key customers for proof of concept, field testing, and to establish first success.
Develop marketing plans (mailers, e-mail, google, etc.) specific to industries and applications to drive continued growth of established products.
Coordinate product support functions such as training, logistics, technical support and quality control. Provide information on top applications.
A minimum of a B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, OR 5 plus years of experience in a technical discipline is required to be considered a candidate due to the complexity of the position.
A minimum of 5 plus years industrial automation experience
A minimum of 5 plus years in product marketing or sales is required to be considered a candidate due to the complexity of the position.
Proven track record working with large customers on projects that impact sales growth.
Highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills in coordinating efforts of others.
Strong influencing skills and drive for results.
Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills.
Ability to travel up to 40% out of local region including internationally. Target is 100 customer visits/year.
