RemX is looking to hire a Manager for the Repair & Hardware Department for a growing and stable company in Jacksonville, FL. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years as a repair manager. 

Job Description:

  • Expert knowledge and practical experience as a microelectronics specialist
    • Able to accurately and efficiently test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic devices at SMD/IC/component level
    • Able to accurately and efficiently tests a variety of moderately complex products to achieve customer quality
    • Able to accurately and efficiently downloads & configures a variety of initial applications and system settings
    • Able to use various
  • Experienced in ERP inventory management, responsible for managing ~1000+ Part#.
  • Manage the activities within the Department of Repair & Hardware Diagnostics to ensure high operation efficiency, quality, and performance
  • Expert knowledge and practical experience as a hardware diagnostics specialist
    • Able to analysis complex hardware issues to determine defect root cause
    • Able to generate in-depth repair and service report on a weekly basis
  • Maintain, direct, implement, and ensure a safe working environment
  • Determine sequence and assignment of employee duties and action items based on priority
  • Rework assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Perform all work in accordance with company’s production specification and established operation procedures
  • Provide daily progress report
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Safety focused environment
  • May perform other related responsibilities.
  • Actively contributes to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs
  • Receives executive supervisory guidance
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards



Job Requirements


  • Be able to utilize production and maintenance tools and equipment such as proprietary testing system, electric screw driver, compressed air system, ionizing air gun, torque gauge/tester, soldering station, heat plate, PCB rework station, testing system & equipment, label printer, electric scale, scanner, digital caliper Windows PC, etc.

  • Be able to read, interpret, understand, and follow blueprints, schematics, diagrams, specifications, bills of materials, testing software on-screen prompts & instructions, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products


Education and Experience

  • Repair Manager: 3 years, or
  • Electrical/Mechanical Testing/QA: 5 years, or
  • Microelectronics Repair Tech III: 5+ years
  • Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or 5+ years of practice in relevant fields (Required)
