RemX is seeking a Receptionist/Customer Service Specialist to support our client in the Scripps Ranch area. We are looking for a self-starter who loves to be on the phones, is empathetic with excellent communication skills and is reliable. This is a temp to hire opportunity paying $17/hr; the ideal applicant will be looking for a long-term home! Client is a well-established mid-sized company that has low-turnover and an excellent culture (casual work environment, frequent company events, competitive PTO and excellent benefits upon permanency!). Job Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary point of contact for all incoming phone calls (approximately 60 or so per day) and maintain contact lists all while providing superior customer service
  • Act as a receptionist (not at a front desk) for any incoming visitors / interviewees / clients and direct to appropriate party
  • Take a high volume of incoming Order calls, escalate where necessary, data entry Order information into system
  • Prepare and distribute emails, memos and letters and provide light administrative support as necessary

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma and 1-2 years of corporate customer service experience or receptionist experience; preferably with Order Processing and a company that provided products
  • People oriented, someone who loves CSR! Former retail/restaurant experience is applicable if you have reliable attendance, enjoy being on the phones, and are ready to get your foot in the door with an excellent Corporate company
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and support Order processing and VP of Operations as necessary
