Looking for that dream job? Well this might not be it, but it is a great role with a solid company located in Sandy Springs GA. This position will assemble and review closed loan mortgage files to ensure all documentation meets acceptable regulatory standards and complies with FNMA & FHLMC Investor guidelines. This position is estimated to last at least 3 months, but it has the potential to become Full-time/ Permanent. $18/HR pay rate.

What your typical day will look like:

  • Meet the specific delivery requirements for purchase and/or FNMA & FHLMC endorsement
  • Review data from loan origination system(s) to compare source documents and other relative systems to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Deliver electronic and/or paper loan files as per investor requirements.
  • Validate and track loan level suspense items and clearance through use of various systems
  • Complete pre-endorsement and/or pre-purchase reviews following investor specific requirements
  • Review all loan documents against established procedures for accuracy, consistency and compliance
  • Work to effectively and timely satisfy conditions and cure defects to complete the loan sale and/or HUD endorsement process
  • Perform a reconciliation between the borrower signed HUD, Final HUD, and lenders origination systems to ensure data integrity and fee compliance. Work with all necessary parties to cure defects
  • Proactively and effectively manage and maintain a high-volume pipeline
  • Achieve specific goals related to quality, efficiency and productivity
  • Timely update the Loan Evaluation System for each stage of Investor Delivery


Job Requirements

What you have to bring to the table:

  • Requires 2 years of experience reviewing and shipping mortgage files to various investors
  • Experience, knowledge and ability to work with Encompass
  • Comprehensive experience in investor delivery and loan sales process
  • Must be able to clear outstanding investor conditions
  • Must have experience with on-line doc prep systems
  • Must be able to communicate with Clients and Closing Agents on a professional level
  • Must have a working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
  • Proficiency in all areas of loan documentation, loan policies/loan guidelines, and procedures understanding of current mortgage lending compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Real Estate Settlement and Procedures Act, Truth in Lending, and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act. RESPA, HECM & FHA HUD Guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
  • Knowledge of CEMA New York Co-ops and Condos, a plus
  • Must be organized, responsible, detail oriented, and able to use good judgment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment and to manage multiple deadlines
  • Ability to navigate through FNMA & & FHLMC websites
  • Flexibility in the work schedule is a must
  • Be available to work overtime when needed
