Our client has an immediate need for a Technical Sales Coordinator. This is a contract to hire position for a Construction Solutions firm. This role is intended to develop into an Inside Sales role.
This role is 15-20% technical, 30-35% sales, 50% coordinating/administrative/customer service. It deals more with the supply side of Geotechnical/Civil Engineering work than the technical side.
- Assisting the Sales Engineers in handling customer service, order processing, and providing technical and logistic support.
- This includes:
- Preparing quote
- Verifying that all orders have the proper documentation in place
- Verifying customer credit
- Entering order information into their database
- Processing order details
- Maintaining accurate ship dates and organized records
- Monitoring the progress of orders
- Making sure changes and additions to orders have the appropriate documentation
- Monitoring job costs
- Filing completed orders into the Document Management System
- Checking inventory levels
- Invoicing all shipments
- Coordinating technical support when needed
