The Human Resources Manager will act as a senior leader and business partner with the leadership team by planning and administering policies, programs, and processes related to human resources. Will be responsible for ensuring the environment of the non-profit operations aligns with values and culture. 

  • Assists in the development and execution of processes and programs administered and performed by team or others such as: recruitment, selection, onboarding, retention, health services, training programs, compensation plans, wage surveys, safety program coordination, unemployment, workers' compensation, disability, orientation, team member activities, and team member handbook.
  • Ensure the coordination of required HR training needed: interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions/progression, performance management, safety, FMLA/ADA, harassment and discrimination, compliance, policy and procedures and cultural training needs to ensure a people-focused environment.
  • Advise management and HR team in appropriate resolution of team member relations issues and corrective action.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Develop and coordinate the continuous improvement of team member relations and corrective action policies, and the communication of policies.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the resolution of team member performance issues.
  • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the HR function and ensure team member relations policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance with federal and state law.

Perform day to day accounting of supply and other G&A expenses. Carry out vendor management duties such as vendor setup, PO management and invoice reconciliations.  

  • Update and audit supply and other general and administrative costs. Issue purchase orders, code invoices and collect proper authorization for expenses.
  • Prepare and maintain expense accrual logs for actual invoices and other verifiable receipts of products and services.
  • Manage vendors, establish service levels and cost structures consistent with Company standards. Negotiate pricing and identify savings opportunities. 
  • Serve as backup to the Finance Manager participating in weekly forecast calls as well as month-end and year-end close activities.
