This candidate will be responsible for performing details review and credit analysis of mortgage loans to ensure the loans meet established underwriting or investor guidelines.

This growing company offers the convenience of working remotely and a full benefits and goal incentives plan. The base salary starts at $90,000. The Underwriter must have 2+ years of experience, 2+ years of Encompass experience and good working knowledge of mortgage loan processing and relevant legal regulations. Candidates must also have good communications skills, both verbal and written, strong organizations skills, ability to prioritize, and must be detail oriented.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze loan documents (credit reports, income documentation, tax returns, assets, appraisal reports, title reports, insurance documents, fraud prevention products, purchase contract, etc) for accuracy and completeness and deliver valid credit decisions
  • Evaluate loan risk through verification of loan application information.
  • Verify application information against loan criteria guidelines and standards.
