Primary job functions require exercising independent judgment and management of others.

  • Account Administration Department objectives:
    • Process return payments, individual account payments, return premium checks and payment import files.
    • Process account adjustment, specific to Personal Auto business segment.
    • Assist with export and invoicing process to related companies.
    • Process suspense accounts.
    • Manage reports for payment, cancel and return premium verification and suspended accounts.
  • Collection Department objectives:
    • Maintain current review and mailing of cancellations & reinstatement notices; maintain current status and accountability of collection accounts.
    • Keep Assistant Vice President apprised of developments, issues, and problems.
    • Verify, compare, and interpret various account data and information from a variety of sources. 
    • Communicate with Insureds, Insurance Carriers, Brokers and Agency personnel to discuss efforts to resolve accounts.
    • Review incoming returns from companies, code with appropriate information and send for application to accounts.
    • Review refunds for accuracy, process and mail refund checks.
    • Review acknowledgement letters and advise contract department of account discrepancies.
  • Document project request forms that are approved by Vice President.
  • Monitor and manage all active service desk tickets to ensure issues are resolved accurately and timely.
  • Monitor and manage all active development projects;
  • Report and track State examinations and periodic.
  • Ensure regulatory, legal and company compliance as it relates to the various forms and the set up within the operating system.

Job Requirements


  • Good knowledge of Finance Markets and Distribution Systems.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the insurance industry.


  • Associates Degree in Business Management or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products to include Excel (Pivot Tables, vlookup, etc.), Outlook and Word.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new software applications.
  • Professional verbal and written communication along with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
  • Ability to work in a team, productivity based environment.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and accurately in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Must possess initiative and drive to make positive changes to processes.
  • Detail oriented with strong problem resolution and research skills.
