RemX is seeking a Temp to Hire Customer Service Representative for a Client in Jessup, MD.   Pay is $20/hour

 The Customer Service Representative will:

  • Answers telephone calls from customers and branches and route to the appropriate personnel
  • Enters all orders into computer system, coordinates shipments, tracks orders and advises customers of order status.
  • Creates rental contracts and all other order related documents
  • Generates invoices and issues credits to customers
  • Resolves order problems.
  • Provides parts identification and basic product information to customers and branches.
  • Communicates order status and production problems to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitors product availability and coordinates with planning, purchasing and production to meet current and anticipated customer needs.
  • Manages customer contracts.

Job Requirements

 The Customer Service Representative will:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years customer service background.
  • Must have extremely strong listening and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to work overtime on a regular basis, sometimes unscheduled.
  • Strong MSOffice Suite skills, AS/400 skills/background able to key 55+ WPM.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent phone presence and customer service skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and decision-making abilities
  • Good project management skills in a multi-tasking environment
  • Demonstrated initiative and appropriate independent problem solving
  • Ability to participate and cooperate in a team-oriented environment, and work independently
  • Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
  • Experience with ERP or MRP systems, JD Edwards knowledge preferred
