JOB SUMMARY Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Payroll, the Payroll Specialist will ensure timely and accurate submission for multistate weekly and biweekly payroll for over 1,000 employees in the US. Review and audit time, HR and payroll data, as well as payroll edit reports. Provide a wide variety of administrative support to the company in all components of the payroll cycle including; wage garnishment administration, wage verifications issue resolution, ADP system maintenance, filing, audit preparation, etc. Prepare checks and payroll related reports for disbursement. Organize and coordinate multiple tasks, communicate information in a timely fashion and with the appropriate sense of urgency. Must have proven experience in dealing with sensitive and highly confidential material. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Handle weekly and biweekly payroll processing for 1000+ multi state employees Research payroll, tax and garnishment related inquiries and take appropriate action to resolve an issues or discrepancies Audit preview and post payroll reports for accuracy and completeness Assist with adding or closing tax jurisdictions Process garnishments and other court orders in a timely manner by mail or serving the employees and setting up deductions into the payroll system Assists with year-end payroll processing duties to ensure accurate and timely W2s Import time & attendance, payroll and benefits deduction data Maintain supporting documentation of all payrolls Manipulate data in MS Excel spreadsheets to identify accuracy and errors Calculate pay, manual checks, FLSA overtime, and paid-time off accruals Analyze requests to process refunds, probate payments and stale dated checks. Maintain the strictest confidence and confidentiality pertaining to all payroll matters Partner with HR and Legal on payroll and benefit issues May assist with payroll processing and related projects Perform other job duties as assigned by the Payroll Manager or Corporate Controller QU

Job Requirements

Experienced payroll professional is needed for this growing manufacturing company

Remote Work- with flexiblity to go into the office 2-3 days a week later in the year

3-5 years of full cycle weekly payroll

Process New Hires, Terminations, Bonus, 401K, Garnishments, Taxes etc

Assist with Month End and Year end Close

ADP-Workday and Kronos

Large payroll experience 1,000 plus employees

MS Office and Strong Excel
