RemX is in search of a User Interface Engineer to support our corporate office. This is a fully remote, direct hire position.

Summary: The User Interface Engineer's role is a mid-level position involved in the design, development and implementation of user interface design solutions in support of business cases, proposed projects, and other systems requirements. The role will be on an agile team and include analyzing and developing wireframes and mock images, coding, testing, and refactoring user interfaces to meet business needs. Additional responsibilities may include research and development in new technologies and processes as needed to improve revenue and customer satisfaction. 

User Interface Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop user interface designs for all customer facing web and mobile based applications
• Work with agile scrum teams and other user interface engineers to create mock user interface designs from approved story boards and wireframes
• Assisting in the building a design system, style guides, and libraries that engineering can follow to create user interfaces that provide consistency across all enterprise applications
• Will be developing in technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, LESS, SASS, Photoshop, and prototyping software like Axure, Adobe XD, Invision, or Sketch
• Exhibit a leadership style and force multiplier that helps to grow others around the organization
• Be the technical team lead collaborating on a self-organizing scrum team
• Participate in scrum activities and ceremonies

RemX is partnered with a client in the Columbia, SC area to find a local Network Engineer to join their team. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This is a broad position that will work with all aspects of the systems and network area.

Network Engineer Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that new infrastructure products are implemented in accordance with agency requirements and industry best practices 
• Network security including proper configuration measures prior to device deployment as well as retroactively on production systems in accordance with MARS-E standards
• Reviewing configurations on existing network infrastructure
• Review and change as needed existing network infrastructure
• Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues with guidance on resolving end-user issues
• Knowledge transfer to existing staff
• Network infrastructure documentation
• Assist with daily operations on infrastructure management

RemX is partnered with a client in search of a SharePoint Project Manager for an 8 month contract.

This role requires someone with SharePoint deployment experience. You will lead the implementation of migration from current Intranet platform to new SharePoint Intranet within Office 365, and support management with additional projects. 

SharePooint Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of the Intranet and other projects 
• Independently manage the planning, documentation, testing, execution, and team members to successful completion
• Direct the entire project life cycle using Waterfall methodology 
• Develop and present written project plans, delegate project tasks 
• Lead project teams consisting of both internal and external stakeholders

IT Specialist Responsibilities:

• Monitor, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems both onsite and remotely 
• Review diagnostics and assess the efficiency of current systems while researching additional options
• Monitor and implement security measures, oversee compliance
• Offer technical support to employees and troubleshoot where necessary (onsite and remote employees)
• Install and update company software and hardware as needed on all systems 
• Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computerized items

• Lead architecture and technical design of modern mobile and responsive front-end user interfaces.

RemX is partnered with a manufacturing company in search of a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to assist with mechanical and electrical maintenance and handle general repairs of plant utilities and equipment, working under a senior maintenance professional. This is a full time, permanent position. The hours are 6:00a-2:30p Monday to Friday. 

Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Maintains a safe and environmentally sound work environment.
• Supports production by ensuring the up-time of all plant equipment.
• Preforms repairs on pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance requirements on all production equipment; following manufacturer's instructions, best industry practices and engineering specifications.
• Fabricates and machines repair parts as needed.
• Experience with 3 phase and high voltage electrical supply
• Controls downtime by informing production management of routine preventive maintenance and completing work in a timely fashion.
• Support plant continuous improvement projects.
• Assist in the development of a preventive maintenance and spare parts program.
• Assist with performing regularly scheduled maintenance and general repairs of plant utilities and equipment, working under the guidance of the senior maintenance professional.
• Daily/weekly cleaning of machinery and equipment.

• Simple carpentry, electrical, machine repair, welding, and painting tasks under direct supervision.
• Indoor/outdoor building, grounds and equipment maintenance.
