Seeking a Manager of e-Commerce Analytics & Optimization who is passionate about data, analytics and SEO. The data & strategy-driven candidate will join a rapidly growing marketing team and work closely with content and development teams to align on goals and objectives. Plan, define and execute all technical SEO strategies for our U.S. and global sites. Track and report on overall platform performance, always focusing on optimizing Company’s and partner sites. 

  • As the in-house SEO expert, conduct technical website and keyword search audits and oversee the work of multiple SEO related brand initiatives across multiple retail partner sites.
  • Identify and/or enhance meta tags, descriptions, navigation and site usability.
  • Conduct routine competitive analysis and align with the content strategy team to plan for rich, insightful, unique content in both specific keyword ranking and overall site authority.
  • Create reporting that effectively communicates insights and recommendations to all levels across the organization.
  • Recommend SEO tools and best practices, staying up-to-date on cutting edge trends.
  • Optimize Company’s e-Commerce & non-transactional websites.
  • Provide datasets to share new learnings, trends and opportunities that will help optimize the website, e-Commerce customer journey and overall site performance.
  • Provide analytical support by using various tools to gather e-Commerce data, normalize it and model it to perform detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses, interpret findings and present actionable recommendations.
  • Build robust A/B testing plans for new features and optimizations and execute those tests.
  • Measure and monitor adoption of new features and customer experience changes.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to build out email campaigns, assist in list pulling, list management and results monitoring, develop and implement an A/B testing plan to include tests across all aspects of email - including creative, copy, products, messaging.

Job Requirements

  • 5-8 years of SEO strategy experience with expertise at technical SEO tactics
  • Advanced analytics experience with 5+ years of conducting competitive analysis; researching, summarizing, reporting on site metrics
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to connect business needs and best practices within a fast-moving environment
  • Expert at setting up goals, tracking events, and generating detailed reports
  • Hands-on experience managing a robust backlink building program to support content development
  • Experience presenting and communicating work in front of multidisciplinary teams in a relatable and professional manner
  • Experience with SEO tools (i.e. BrightEdge, Google Search Console)
  • Highly preferred: experience with Google Analytics, G Suite, Shopify and/or Google Tag Manager
