RemX is recruiting for an Accounting Assistant for our client located in Anaheim, Ca. M-F 8-5 Temp to Hire Offering $15/hr. This is an entry level opportunity for a recent college grad looking to gain expierence in accounting or finance.
Accounting Assistant Duties:
- Assist with Invoice clients on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis
- Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Respond to client correspondence by mail, phone, or email
- Document all billing related inquiries and issues
- Collaborate with Client Services
- Update Customer file maintenance
- Perform monthly account statement reconciliations
- Consistently follow up on past due to accounts
- Print and file job tickets
- Other general accounting duties as assigned.
Accounting Assistant Requirements:
- Quickbooks expierence
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Confidentiality

- Strong on follow-through
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Dependable
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as a team player
- Good working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- College degree in finance or accounting
- 6 months Accounting knowledge
