E-Commerce Business Analyst -
This role will provide data-driven insights, reports and recommendations, so managers are well informed when making business decisions. Areas of focus include sales reporting, pricing analysis, catalog optimization and promotion planning. The analyst is a key member of the Ecommerce Center of Excellence (CoE), and will partner with other members of the CoE to deliver sales, marketing and profitability objectives. This position reports to the National Account Manager, Ecommerce.
Essential Responsibilities: ? Produce weekly and monthly sales reports to track shipments, sell through and other KPIs ? Conduct market and segment trend analyses to identify drivers, risks and opportunities. Provide actionable insights based on the findings. ? Perform item and catalog maintenance, including item setup, catalog scrubbing, pricing/profitability analysis and price list creation/maintenance. ? Assist with price tracking and enforcement of pricing policies ? Assist with channel control efforts, including diversion reduction and monitoring ? Monitor and dispute chargebacks and customer penalties
Supplemental Responsibilities: ? Assist with sales forecasting and demand planning ? Submit trade and marketing promotions as directed, and track results ? Assist in optimizing marketing campaigns, content (product images, SEO copy, enhanced creative), and ensure brand messaging is consistent. ? Assist cross-functional teams with ecommerce-related operational tasks as needed
Required Education and Experience: BA/BS with 2 years of experience in business analytics, finance, marketing or related field Previous experience in e-commerce is desired; not required Experience in Amazon Vendor Central/1P is desired but not required
