RemX Staffing is currently looking for an experienced Benefits and Insurance Specialist to work with a Top Fortune 500 Healthcare company in their call center environment located in Cary, NC! If you have experience working with Healthcare Benefits and Insurance, this might be the position for you! We are looking for people that can help guide a patient through all of the steps of receiving their medication. This means you will get the referral from the Doctor's office, set the patient up in the computer, investigate the claim, all the way until the patient receives their medication. This requires someone who is dedicated and empathetic to the patient through out the process.

This is an exciting temporary positions that may have the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate!

These positions are temporarily working from home due to Covid-19 and will eventually transition back to being in office. While working from home all necessary equipment will be provided, and you will have the unique opportunity to highlight your skills and work ethic in a time where you can immediately stand out!

As a Benefits and Insurance Specialist, you will:

  • Provide white glove customer service to patients
  • Assist with prior authorizations
  • Educate patients on financial assistance options, when applicable
  • Answer patient questions and concerns and transfer to the clinical team (pharmacists and nurses) when appropriate
  • Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to clinicians to ensure patient’s safety
  • Document customized services being provided and update concise progress notes

 

 

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Prior experience working in health insurance or medical billing
  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology
  • Competent in basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, ability to prioritize, and work under pressure
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Highly motivated, flexible, adaptable, conscientious and detail oriented
