RemX is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist needed for our client in Coastal North County! This is a temp to hire opportunity paying $23-25/hour, depending on experience, and is great for someone looking to grow in corporate accounting. The ideal candidate will be dynamic and flexible with a great attitude, and able to assist the company through an ERP conversion within the next year.

Job Description:

• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure accurate Job Costing
• Process weekly check runs
• Work within an AP accounting and finance team
• Process high volume full cycle accounts payable (500 per week), 3-way matching
• Process employee expense reimbursements and reports in Concur ERP
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Maintain 1099
• Monitoring and updating all accounts payable

Qualifications

• Tenure in accounting (2+ years of experience in AP preferred)
• A college graduate in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 1-2 years relevant billing experience
• Familiar with ERP software such as JD Edwards, Oracle, Great Plains or SAP
• Great with Excel
• A team player
• A strong communicator and highly organized
