  •  Process month end close from start to finish
  •  Prepare monthly consolidation and consolidated financial statements
  •  Review and create payments for all property taxes as well as maintain the property tax schedules, work with outside consultant to review property values and assessments
  •  Assist in creating loan draws
  •  Monitor WIP
  •  Report depreciation to parent company.
  •  Assist with annual budgets,
  •  Assist with daily cash reconciliation
  •  Communicate with co-workers and management in a courteous and professional manner.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting and 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate accounting and/or cost accounting.
  • Home-building and or apartment accounting experience is a plus.
  • Conscientious and able to work independently with minimal direction from manager
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of Newstar a plus
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
  • Detailed and organized
