Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to work in an environment requiring high volume of repetitive tasks; ability to maintain keen attention to detail throughout entire shift.
Intermediate computer skills including ability to navigate in MS Windows environment (required).
Prior experience with EMR systems, a plus.
Ability to navigate between windows on computer to complete daily work.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology, required.
Prior medical records experience, a plus.
Ability to absorb and apply training in multiple functions; flexibility to be shifted from one function to another based on business needs.
Excellent organization, communication and multi-tasking skills and abilities.

RemX Specialty Staffing is currently looking Insurance Processor for our client Kennesaw, GA. 

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Once hired permanently, there are Employee benefits and opportunity for an increased hourly rate. 

This position will require you to train at the Kennesaw office for 3 days and then will be remote for the time being.

PAY RATE: $14/HR

Start Date: July 21st 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Processing insurance documents and verify for accuracy
  • Make determinations based on rules and regulations
  • Make corrections/updates as defined in the business processing rules
  • Escalate any issues to team leads or supervisors as needed
  • Maintain a minimum of 98% accuracy each month
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to type minimum of 40 wpm with strong accuracy
  • Insurance and/or banking background a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Own computer plus external monitor and keyboard
  • High-speed internet
