Corporate Receptionist / Administrative Assistant 

W Knox - Onsite

This is an Onsite position for a growing diverse West Knoxville, company.  $18-20 depending on experience, M-F, 8a-5p. This is a 6 month contract or longer with the potential of perm hire with great attendance and performance.

SUMMARY OF FUNCTION: Welcomes visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone. The receptionist will provide general office support with a variety of administrative activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional administrative support as needed.


  • Answer phone and direct phone calls to appropriate staff member
  • Take messages as required
  • Greet and announce visitors
  • Create purchase orders
  • Creates and edits documents, performs data entry
  • Sort, screen and notify recipients of incoming mail and faxes
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail parcels
  • Assist in ordering office supplies, catering, and other administrative tasks as needed or requested
  • Perform general administrative tasks for other departments as required
  • Other duties and projects as assigned; may include interpretation and translating documents


  • Reading, writing, and mathematical competency
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a Corporate Receptionist
  • Computer skills (MS Office Excel, Outlook, Teams) required, other software
