Healthcare Company, leading distributor of Medical Equipment is looking for a reliable Referral Coordinator to work from home and apply their customer service skills. (candidate need to be in Pacific or Central time)

 

The Referral Coordinator is responsible for receiving and coordinating new patient referrals and pulling through on document requests in an efficient and streamlined way that satisfies provider office needs. This position also establishes relationships with provider contacts they further facilitate new provider requests and patient serviceability.

 

Responsibilities

  • Utilize their relationship building skills, to manage referrals and streamline the communication and document collection processes.
  •  Growing the volume of referrals and shipments in their assigned area of operations.
  • Connect with referral sources doing all they can to identify key individuals, establish excellent rapport with key individuals and ensure the prescriber’s needs are exceeded.
  • Understand the nuances of the insurance, insurance groups and respective coverage details
  • Understand product selection and strategic differentiators.
  • Performs referral related outreach to Introduce the company, Reconnect, Educate, Support and Check-in to ensure prescriber/partner needs are getting met,  
  • Encourage providers/partner to utilize the company for all serviceable / eligible patients.
  • Identifies Insurance Plans that present opportunities and presents them to team for potential contracting opportunities.
  • Monitors and troubleshoots pending files as requested;
  • provides patient follow-up / updates as needed  
  • Exceeds service expectations when representing the company during all calls, conferences, all communication
  • Maintains accurate and detailed records  

Job Requirements

?          High School diploma or GED required, some college preferred

?          Customer Service experience at a medical field, referral and healthcare insurance experience is a plus!

?          Computer skills, organized, and able to multi-task to prioritize functions

?          Excellent customer service and communication skills, including phone and inter-personal skills

?          Solid mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

?          Knowledge of medical terminology preferred; knowledge of diabetes a plus

?          Bilingual in Spanish (read, write, and speak) preferred

 

Benefits

?       Type of Hire:  Temp to hire  (90 days)

?       Pay Rate: $18/hr + benefits

?       Training Length: Two – three weeks.  Will be on camera during training

?       Training Schedule:  8:30am-5pm PST remaining days of training (Monday – Friday) - Remote

?       Post- Training Schedule:  8:30am-5pm PST, Monday through Friday   - Remote

?       Technology: They will be shipped all necessary equipment.
