RemX has a wonderful opportunity for a Certified Payroll Administrator to join the team of our client in the El Cajon area. This is a mid-sized, busy company that works with multiple City/Gov’t Contracts seeking a fluently bilingual, English/Spanish, candidate experienced in Certified Payroll to manage their Payroll processes, meet deadlines, and assist with light Accounting duties. Job duties

  • Process all certified Payroll and assist with accounting related duties; process AP invoices from Excel Spreadsheets, ensure AR is current and up to date, prepare financial statements for review, job costing, lien releases, subcontractor payments etc.
  • Assist with general bookkeeping duties
  • Assist with administration and oversite review of contracts; client works with City Contracts and any City/Gov’t Contracting knowledge is a plus
  • Provide administrative support as needed 

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting is a plus, but not required
  • Experienced Processing Certified Payroll
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Exposure to Government and City contracts is a plus
  • Intermediate MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; can do attitude with a willingness to help the team out where needed
