Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper - 

• Preparing and filing Sales tax returns for states and various cities across the United States, together with timely making payments for those returns • Assisting to update quarterly states’ sales tax rate changes • Month-end closing accounting entries including brands royalty accrual and reclassification entries • Preparing and filing Royalty reports together with timely payments to licensors • Preparing and distributing of month-end analysis reports such as (bank charges, credit card merchant charge report, unapplied cash, etc.) • Distribution of several daily, weekly and month-end reports • Special projects as requested/needed EDUCATION/TRAINING: Minimum Required – Accounting degree/equivalent work experience Min 2 years work experience in accounting or related area Intermediate or higher level Excel skills Preferred – Degree in Accounting from reputable university Min 2 years work experience in accounting Strong Excel skills
